Back in the early 2000s Texas raised there R-Value from a R-30 to an R-38, for the ceiling/attics. The walls/floors were raised fromR-13 to an R-19.Attics/ceilings account for 45% of your houses energy loss. Walls are 25%, then floors, doors, and windows are 10%. Prober insulating your house can save you 10-50% on energy bills. Other benefit’s includes eliminating cold/hot spots, prevents moisture and condensation, gas emissions reduce along with a longer A/C lifespan

who we are
our founder Scott Cowey started working in insulation during 1983, learning everything from his boss and fellow workers, eventually getting promoted. while working for his boss Scott decided to start his own company in 1986, hence forth south central insulation was born. now for Scott has done insulation for 40+ years. In 2018 his daughter started going to work for him, gaining new expertise. currently she is learning to take on the company. This family owned business goal, is to lower energy cost and keep you comfortable no matter what weather Texas throws our way. let our family help yours.
